I also pitch story ideas to local reporters and assist Public Information Officers with any video needs, and manage the successful UC Davis Health YouTube channel.

I produced, directed, wrote, shot and edited commercials/promos for CW31's Good Day and CBS13. This includes overall image campaigns, daily topicals, creating original commercials for syndicated programs and more. More than just your typical news cameraman - I shot, wrote, tracked and edited my own stories for FOX40 newscasts, in addition to working with reporters and running microwave and satellite live trucks. I've covered it all: breaking and daily news, sports, entertainment and politics. I also produced content for the station's website, including writing articles using WordPress and shooting photo galleries of local events and concerts.

As a news photographer, I worked with reporters to cover general news and sports. I would shoot and edit stories, as well as run a microwave live truck for the evening newscasts. I also maintained the station's video archive. Before that I was an editor/tape operator, where I edited content for the evening newscasts and rolled all video during the live shows.

I worked as a production grip on the sidelines for NCAA football and basketball games, which included wraping cables behind the field camera, setup/take-down and equipment maintenance. I also assisted with commercial shoots, which included lighting setup, logging time code and camera operation.
